BSL has a chance at being a GCSE
The Department of Education has said they will consider a British Sign Language GCSE. This is change from Nick Gibb in March during the parliamentary debate in March on the same issue. The department has said that it could be introduced in the long run, after giving schools time to adjust to the new GCSEs.
So maybe not next year, or five years from now, but at some point there could be a BSL GCSE.
